Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
Our purpose-built, NDIS-registered SDA homes provide safe, accessible housing for individuals with high support needs, offering comfort, independence, and tailored design to meet your needs.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Our Medium Term accomodations offer personalised daily support, including help with personal care, household tasks, and community participation, ensuring you have the assistance you need to thrive in your own home.

Understanding Tailored Support and Accessible Living: SDA & SIL
What is Specialist Disability Accommodation?
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to housing specifically designed for individuals with extreme functional impairments or very high support needs. These homes include accessible features to promote independence and ensure that other supports can be provided more efficiently and safely.
Who is eligible for SDA?
Individuals with an extreme functional impairment or very high support needs
Those who meet the NDIS funding criteria for SDA
How does SDA work?
SDA funding helps create high-quality, contemporary, accessible housing for eligible participants. This funding is paid directly to SDA providers to cover building and maintenance costs. Participants contribute a reasonable rent and day-to-day expenses, such as utility bills.
What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is NDIS funding that provides assistance with daily tasks for participants who have complex needs and often prefer shared housing. SIL focuses on helping individuals build skills and live more independently.
What does SIL include?
SIL covers the cost of support for:
Personal care and daily living tasks
Skill development to increase independence
Supervision and assistance with activities
How does SIL work with SDA?
While SIL does not cover accommodation costs, it is often used alongside SDA to provide a comprehensive support solution for participants in shared or individual living arrangements.
These services work hand-in-hand to offer tailored support and safe, accessible living environments.
