Fresh from completing her MBA, she sought meaningful work, not just a job but an opportunity to make a tangible difference. Inspired by her experiences assisting family members back home, Natalia turned to disability support, drawn by More Than Support's vision of fostering a multicultural community.

“What attracted me was the concept and vision of More Than Support  as a multicultural company, providing services to participants from diverse backgrounds,” Natalia shares. It was a perfect alignment of her values and professional aspirations.

From support worker to Marketing Specialist: a story of growth

Natalia’s career at More Than Support has been a dynamic journey, one that mirrors the organisation’s commitment to growth and inclusivity. Beginning as a Support Worker, she worked hands-on with participants, supporting those with a wide range of needs, including mental and physical disabilities. This role allowed her to develop deep connections and understand the day-to-day challenges participants face.

By mid-2022, Natalia’s journey took a new turn. Transitioning to an Office Assistant role, she began supporting the Finance and HR departments. From invoicing and budgeting to managing participant documentation and coordinating service rosters, Natalia expanded her skill set while fostering strong relationships across the organisation.

“I have to admit, it was tricky at the beginning,” Natalia reflects. “But with the help and communication of my coworkers, it became an enjoyable activity. It also gave me the chance to know everyone’s name, even if I’m better at matching names to roles than faces!”

Now, as a Marketing Specialist, Natalia channels her creativity and passion into crafting stories that celebrate the work of More Than Support . Whether it’s sharing uplifting moments across social platforms or communicating with stakeholders, her role is central to amplifying MTS’s voice.

It’s about reinforcing our goals and achieving greater impact to meet the diverse needs of clients and their families.”
